2010 was another good year for the club.
- We took a total of 71 medals including 27 golds, 17 silver and 27 bronze as well as 6 best in category trophies and both best competitor trophies at the junior and senior competitions. We came second in the title of best club at the November competition to Mr Stronach’s Reflex TKD club by just two golds.
- We held 3 gradings during the year that were well attended by students that had reached the required standard.
- Little dragon classes are running very strongly in both Ryton and Rowlands Gill and throughout the year we held 5 Little Dragon gradings.
- Squad training has been held building up to the three competitions which proved very successful.
- We completed an excellent demonstration at the Newcastle Mela which proved very popular and feedback was excellent.
- We also hosted another sparring seminar in which we invited Mr Grant Churchward 4th Degree from Devon to take the club through some great sparring drills.
Christmas party seemed to be a big success at the Namco bowling centre we had almost 100 people in attendance. We are booked again for 2011 on the Friday 16th December.
